From signals to actions

The missing link is often the workflow.

Why connecting AI to a device or system is only the first step toward useful operational work.

A connection is not yet a result

A device can report a change. A model can explain it. A business system can create a task. The useful outcome depends on how those steps fit together and who is responsible for what happens next.

That is why we start with a workflow rather than a list of integrations.

Find the trigger

Be specific about what begins the process: a sensor event, a document, a service request or a scheduled review. Define what makes the trigger relevant and how it is associated with the right operational context.

Identify the missing context

Ask what a capable person would need before deciding on the next step. It might be an operating guide, a recent inspection, an asset record or an approval rule. Those sources shape the agent's work.

Separate recommendation from permission

Knowing what could be done does not mean an agent is authorised to do it. Define which steps it may prepare, which it may execute and which require a person to decide.

Close the loop

A task being sent is different from a task being completed. Decide how the workflow checks the result, records an exception and returns responsibility to a person when it cannot continue.

Start small enough to learn

Choose one trigger, one useful outcome and a clear operating owner. A narrow workflow makes it easier to see whether the connection is doing useful work and what needs to improve before the scope expands.
